Referral Process

If you would like a referral to a subspecialist, please discuss your concerns with our doctors during an office visit before a referral can be placed. This allows us to gather all the necessary information, evaluate the concern, and determine whether it can be appropriately addressed in our office.

Once a referral has been placed, please contact our office if you have not heard from the specialist within 2–4 weeks. Because we refer patients to many different specialists, practices, and healthcare networks, it can be difficult for our office to track the status of every referral. We appreciate your help in following up if you have not received an appointment or other communication within this timeframe.
